These interest-based groups that happen in 13-week semesters in the Spring & Fall.
Ranging from sports to book clubs, they're a great opportunity for fellowship and meeting new people!
SPRING SEMESTER GROUPS
BREAKING BREAD
Leader: Melissa Hanson
Let’s go on a food adventure. This group will meet once per month (Saturday evening) at a variety of restaurants to explore foods across a host of cultures.

DEAF CULTURE
Leader: Marietta Patchin
This connect group will meet each Thursday evening at 7:00 PM at Dallas First Church to learn ASL basics and explore Deaf Culture.
GROW IN THE WORD
Leader: Darla Tovar
This connect group will meet on a monthly basis (3rd Thursday of the month) to explore the book “Christians and Strongholds” by Kim Haney. The book can be purchased through Pentecostal Publishing House (PPH).

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY

Do you need peace in your finances?This group will meet on a weekly basis for 9 weeks beginning April 2023 to learn personal finance management methods using curriculum developed by Dave Ramsey. (Nominal cost of $79.99 per family for associated written materials).

MEN-ISTRY
This group will provide an opportunity for men to connect on a weekly (Friday at 7 pm) basis to discuss how to be more efficient in ministry.

MODERN CALLIGRAPHY
Do you love to doodle? If you are ready to embrace your own calligraphy style this is the place for you. This connect group meet bi-weekly on Fridays at 7 pm where you will learn modern calligraphy for beginners and will do your own paper and small practice crafts.

ON THE BIRDWALK
North Texas has an abundance of beautiful and interesting birds. If you enjoy being out in nature and want to learn about local birds, this group is your one stop shop. The group will meet once per month on Saturdays at various locations around the DFW metroplex.
PADDLE BATTLE PICKLEBALL
Leader: Julien Hunt
Let the battle of the paddle begin! Pickle ball it’s the fastest growing sport in America. The game combines elements of tennis, ping pong and badminton. The rules are simple and the game is easy to learn for beginners, but fast-paced for more experienced players. This connect group will meet monthly (possibly more frequently) to engage in lighthearted friendly competition.

STRONGER TOGETHER
If you're a woman looking to improve your health through exercise and nutrition this is the group for you. This group will meet on a weekly basis to workout and share nutrition tips and healthy recipes. (Yoga mat and water bottle will be needed).

Learning the basics of the ranch & cowboy lifestyle. This group meets bi-weekly at the Foster home.
