They came to Dallas from West Monroe, LA with a vision to reach the DFW Metroplex. Since being voted in as Pastors of Dallas First Church in 1982, they have faithfully maintained their calling and commitment to this great city and its communities. Beyond just preaching, teaching, singing, and playing the organ, you'll typically find them among the people; talking, listening, and building relationships.
ANDREW LUCAS
EXECUTIVE PASTOR
Andrew, born in Japan to missionary parents, became part of the DFC staff in June 2012. He and his wife Cassandra faithfully served DFC as Youth Pastors until July of 2021, in addition to his current role as Youth President of the North Texas District. He now serves as Executive Pastor under the direct leadership of our Senior Pastor.
KIM SMITH
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO SENIOR PASTOR
A graduate of Texas Bible College, Kim has been a part of the DFC staff for over 25 years where she currently serves as the Executive Pastoral Assistant as well as the Singles Ministry Director along with her husband, Dennis.
ANTHONY OLIVER
FAMILY PASTOR
Anthony's been part of our team for 10 years! In addition to being the Married Couples Director alongside his wife, Suzie, he's committed to serving and helping families maintain strong, healthy, biblical relationships.
JAMES BALENSIEFEN
CREATIVE ARTS DIRECTOR
James joined our team January 2018 - but his connection to DFC started at age 6 on a bus through our community outreach team! Now he guides our creative efforts and leads the Worship Team.
JULIEN HUNT
YOUTH PASTOR
Julien, a graduate of Vanguard University with a BA in music & psychology, joined our team July 2nd 2021. Having previously served in California as a Worship Arts Director and Young Adult Director, he brings a passion to serve the youth of DFC, and a commitment to helping them become the young men and women God has called them to be.
DALTON DISMORE
KIDS PASTOR
Dalton was raised in, served in, and has a heart for DFC. After graduating from Urshan Graduate School of Theology in Missouri, he returned home to Dallas to serve our children with a genuine passion to see them connect with, and grow in successful genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.
TERI MILLS
RECEPTIONIST
Terri with her husband Paul arrived at DFC July 2008 after serving as Music Director for the previous 20 years in Balch Springs, TX. She along with her genuine kindness and warm personality has been the face of our front office since October 2011!
EDDIE PRIETO
FINANCE DIRECTOR
With years of experience, Eddie guides our financial security and direction. He and his wife Consuelo have lovingly and selflessly served the DFC family for more than 20 years.
